Internationalization

We strive to overcome boundaries and be a hub of innovation. Central to this success is the ability to engage in fruitful international partnerships and support scientific collaboration. Shenzhen has been identified as a model city of economic development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. We share in its values of bold innovation and exploration. As such, we are eager to engage with international research and industry partners where there is strong compatibility and a common commitment to meaningful collaboration.

The School of Environment and Energy, School of Urban Planning and Design, School of Advanced Materials, HSBC Business School and School of Transnational Law have established 14 joint training projects with other universities. Partners include many fellow research institutions also recognized as among the top universities in the world. These initiatives support research and talent training and are essential to delivering advancements in knowledge and technology which effectively meet the needs of the increasingly complex world.

We also cooperate in exchange partnerships with universities worldwide. Exchange agreements allow us to welcome a culturally rich group of around 100 exchange students to our campus during the typical year. Exchange students take part in a wide variety of cultural activities and enrich themselves through exposure to Chinese culture and language, while also becoming a valuable part of our campus with the skills and new perspectives they bring.
